In the late 1980’s the Mill was purchased by another local family, who began offering an educational youth theatre. The youth theatre continues today as one of the country's premier youth theatre programs.
The building is amazing, full of history and about 300 yr old timbers, stone and mortar.

In 2001 Swift Creek Mill Playhouse reorganizes to became the now 501(c)(3) Swift Creek Mill Theatre, offering entertainment of the highest caliber and world class youth theatre education.
