In this fun, exploratory movement and performance class students will spend eight weeks engaging with the foundations of theatre. They will dive into imagination through story books and learn to work together by building off of each other's ideas. Each class session will focus on a different world and story. They will discover different aspects of theatre including costumes, acting, and set arranging.
In this theatre foundations class, students will develop hands on skills that harness the powers of creativity. They will develop ideas for improvisation games and world building. Each child will learn about the various aspects of theatre including acting, costuming, lighting, and set design. They will gain confidence by working up to being solo on the stage and writing their own scenes.
