Admissions Policies

Introduction
By purchasing a ticket and/or attending any performance at Swift Creek Mill, you agree to the following Admissions Policies of Swift Creek Mill Theatre. This information is available online, in the Mainstage playbill and by request. The Admissions Policies are subject to change without notice.

Payment :
Payment for Mainstage shows is required at the time of reservation. Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, cash, and local checks are accepted. For show schedule, please contact our office or visit www.swiftcreekmill.com.

Office Hours :
Tuesday – Friday 9am – 4pm (and two hours prior to curtain)

Delivery Policy :
Tickets are “will call,” print-at-home, or mobile. Will call tickets are available at the box office just prior to the performance (there is a $5 fee added for will call tickets). Tickets may be purchased at the door if available.

Mainstage Refund Policy :
Individuals – All sales are final. You can exchange your ticket for a future performance, or you can sing into your account and re-sell your ticket. If someone purchases it, you will be refunded the face value of your ticket.
Groups – Group refunds are not available.
Youth Field Trips – Refunds are available for up to four (4) people 48 hours prior to the performance.

Seating :
Mainstage productions are reserved seating. Advance reservations are recommended for Theatre Only and required for Dining and Theatre combos. Our specially curated dinners are always offered in the main-level Mill Room, and may also be offered in the lower-level Granite Room. The performances are all in the second-floor theatre.

Special Needs :
We can best serve you when we know your needs at the time of your reservation. Elevator access and wheelchair seating are available for main level dining and second-floor theatre performances. Granite Room dining requires the use of stairs. Dining room assignments are made prior to the show date; please let our staff know your needs – physical, dietary, or other – in advance so that we may assist you.

Dining :
Reservations are required for dining. Swift Creek Mill features dining in a refined, historic atmosphere. Our special show-themed and curated dinner is offered prior to mainstage performances. Doors open for dining two hours before curtain. Meal price includes an appetizer, main course, and dessert. Beverages and bar drinks are not included. Tax is applied to meal and a la carte items in accordance with state and local law. Our waitstaff works hard to provide exceptional service. Gratuity is appreciated. When purchasing your dining ticket, please remmeber to let us know if if you would like to sit-with another guest or guests.

Gift Certificates :
Gift certificates may be purchased in any amount. Promotional gift certificates or passes expire according to the expiration date listed. Promotional gift certificates or passes may not be combined with other discounts, passes, promotions, or coupons, and they have no cash value.

Discounts :
Senior, Military & Student discount – $5.00 off the normal ticket price for any Mainstage performance.
Rush – $25 Theatre Only tickets and $15 Student Theatre Only tickets, based on availability one hour prior to any show.
Discounts cannot be combined with other discounts, passes, promotions, or coupons, and they have no cash value.

Restrictions :
The operation of cameras, video cassette recorders and other recording devices is strictly prohibited during all performances at Swift Creek Mill Theatre. Theatrical

Design :
The Mill has a reputation for offering high quality theatre. Some Mainstage productions may include the use of strong language, special or strobe lighting, non-harmful fog machines, and/or other devices and techniques. Notice is given prior to these performances. Please feel free to inquire about the content and nature of a production prior to the show.

Smoking Policy :
Swift Creek Mill Theatre maintains smoke-free buildings. The dining rooms are subject to the same Virginia smoking laws for restaurants. Occasionally, smoking by actors may be appropriate for the accurate portrayal of individual characters or the truthful telling of the story and is not intended to be construed as approval or glorification of the behavior of smoking.

Inclement Weather :
In the event a show is canceled due to inclement weather, customer credit, refund or an alternate performance date will be offered at the discretion of Management.

Privacy Policy :
We respect and are committed to protecting your privacy. We may collect personally identifiable information when you visit our site. We also automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your browser including your IP address, cookie information and the page(s) you visited. We will not sell your personally identifiable information to anyone.

Security Policy :
Your payment and personal information are safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the Internet.
